Events during Cowichan Pipes and Drums Scotland Trip 2026

The Glasgow Piping Festival 2026, known as Piping Live is set to take place from August 9th to August 14th. This prestigious event will be held at the National Piping Centre and will feature a variety of performances, including the Masters Solo Piping Competition, headline concerts, and daily recitals. The festival promises to be a celebration of the art of piping, attracting both seasoned pipers and newcomers alike. The World Pipe Band Championships are back. Two days of competition showcases the extraordinary ability of 8000 pipers and drummers taking part. Defending champions Field Marshal Montgomery will face bands from around the World as they compete to hang on to their crown.
