Soldiers lost to PTSD and in peacetime to be  honoured at vigil in Cobble Hill
Thursday, October 22nd
The Vigil  is a poignant event held annually to honor Canadian military members who have lost their lives in non-combat situations. This vigil, which began in 2014, pays tribute to those who have died from causes related to PTSD, including Corporal Nathan Cirillo and Military Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent. The event is marked by a wreath laying ceremony and the lighting of candles at the cenotaph, with the ceremony taking place at 6:36 am on October 22nd each year. The vigil is a testament to the sacrifices made by military personnel and serves as a reminder of the impact of PTSD on their lives and families
